YTF participated in GlobalGiving's Global Open Challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working around the world. YTF's project, the "New Owerri Digital Village (NODV)" was featured on GlobalGiving.com. NODV will provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly building for use by underserved youth and their communities. Through efficiency of design, construction, maintenance, operation, reuse and recycling, this project will provide long-term economic and educational benefits for community members, many of whom are poor and under-educated youth and women. The "New Owerri Digital Village" will be the first "green" community technology and learning center in West Africa. Thank you for helping YTF make a difference in the lives of young people.
